1 front coverUPDATE:  If you’re here for the comic and are dropping by Amazing Stories for the first time – why not stick around?  We publish great posts about science fiction, fantasy, horror, fandom, science and everything connected to them daily.  Membership is FREE – and we’re working on rolling out additional benefits for members and subscribers.  (And you do us a good turn too – the greater our registered audience grows, the faster we’ll be able to bring Amazing Stories back as a fully-fledged fiction magazine!)

David Gerrold’s epically hilarious parody of Star Trek:TOS, Doctor Who and a mysterious other behind the scenes and pulling the strings has finally arrived!

Penciled and colored by Troy Boyle, inked by Jeff Austin and lettered by Nic J. Shaw, this story by the author of Star Trek’s fan-favorite episode – The Trouble With Tribbles – will have you rolling on the floor laughing.  Not just the ROFL acronym – you’ll REALLY be laughing so hard you’ll need to roll on the floor.

This is a signed and numbered limited edition full color comic of 500 copies.  Relatively low numbers are still available.

Orders can be placed right here in our store – please make sure to select the correct option:  with shipping for US residents, w/o shipping for non-US residents (we’ll calculate international shipping separately and invoice the purchaser).

Excerpts, preliminary sketches and completed pages can be seen right here on Amazing Stories for sneak peeks.

Originally slated to be the new Amazing Stories’ first publication of original fiction (how can you go wrong with an author like David Gerrold and not one but TWO iconic science fiction properties!?!), circumstances far beyond the control of mortal man prevented that from happening.  (See our ‘The Making Of” post here today.)

We pulled the stops out to insure that this collectible comic is of the highest quality:  printing and the paper used are superb, the story and the artwork are killer examples of the fine art of science fiction parody that treat the subjects with a respect that can only be provided by a true insider.

What you’ll be getting is a unique piece of science fiction, Dr. Who and Star Trek history:  the idea of mashing together two of televisions most successful and popular science fiction franchises is a fan favorite – but its only been done once or twice before and never by the creator of Star Trek’s Tribbles.  And speaking of Tribbles, this story contains one of only a handful of Tribble tales and it’s our guess that its the only Tribble story with Daleks!

We expect these to go fast.  We’ll never be printing a limited edition of this comic again so, once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Shipping notes:  each copy of the comic is shipped with an acid free backing board inside a poly-sleeve.  Standard shipping is USPS Priority Mail for $5.75;  international shipping will probably cost more.
