Give Me Something New

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. trust no oneI don’t know why, but I’m feeling really bored with the choice of TV at the moment (Game of Thrones excluded). None of the new shows that have started have really grabbed me and I’m even getting bored with the ones that are already around. Arrow seems to be going a bit OTT now, gone are the exercise scenes, which was one of the highlights, and now it is all about the super-soldiers. I have a back-log of other shows to catch up with, like The 100 and Sleepy Hollow, but they are always at the bottom of my list of other shows. I even spent lots of my TV time rewatching Heroes, as I just wanted to watch something that I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop playing the next episode instantly. Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is one show, however, that is getting better with age. Now that it is really running alongside the Avengers movies it is keeping me on the edge of my seat, plus the massive Hydra storyline and those who we thought were good turning out to be bad has been pretty awesome. It’s very rare for some of the main cast members to be turned from good to evil, and so soon in the show, surely he can’t be around forever—evil must be stopped?!

But with so many great films coming out this summer including Godzilla, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Maleficent, Edge of Tomorrow, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Transformers: Age of Extension, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Jupiter Ascending and Guardians of the Galaxy. I think I will be backing away from the small screen and filling my time with the big screen.

Are there any shows that you think I’m missing out on?
