During the Locus Awards Weekend, we will be celebrating the life and work of the acclaimed Lucius Shepard at the beginning of the Saturday night Locus party. We’d like to fly in one or two authors to Seattle for this special celebration to take a lead role in helping us remember the late, great Lucius Shepard, long an iconic figure in the international SF scene and a familiar face in the Northwest, where he lived the last dozen or so years of his life. We need to raise funds to fly in and house at least one of his close peers who couldn’t otherwise afford to come and help us celebrate Lucius’s life and work with anecdotes and short readings of his work.

Whatever is left over will go to the Lucius Shepard website project, to support uploading the photos and anecdotes gathered for his appreciation, as well as changes and updates to the website that Lucius had planned.

If two hundred Lucius Shepard friends and fans can each donate $5, we’ll have enough to accomplish our goals. For those who’d like to be named, we will list contributors on Lucius’s website. Thanks!
